   TRAINING

     Members enjoy numerous opportunities for advanced and refresher training in all facets of boating and seamanship.  These range from presentations at Flotilla monthly meetings to weekend training fairs to formal Coast Guard sponsored schools held periodically around the country.  Auxiliarists selected for some training travel on orders and enjoy reimbursement of their reasonable expenses in accordance with standard government policies.  There is a growing body of material, courses and certification exams online as well.  Our goal is to provide our members with all the tools they need to enjoy their Auxiliary experience.
